Kind words go far and builds the spirit, but the generosity of others refreshes the souls of many.

a message from the president

The Washington Park Chamber of Commerce was truly sad to learn that yet another year the Washington Park Christmas Tree was burned down. As we read stories in the news of other Christmas Trees being burned down, it’s clear that our world needs healing.

The Washington Park Christmas Tree symbolizes and represents, hope, light, oneness and unity for all of our businesses, community partners, clergy, schools, elected officials, families and volunteers who join together during the holiday season. It is the time of season when we pay it forward and show acts of kindness.

Our community deserves what other communities have…yes even a beautiful Christmas tree standing tall and toys for our children. Our families deserves to be shown love throughout the entire year and it is because of your support, it would be impossible to fulfill our mission.

We are truly inspired and motivated by your acts of kindness, our work will continue and with that-we say THANK YOU!

Donna Hampton-Smith
President
The Washington Park Chamber of Commerce
